Hello everyone!

I don't think I ever introduced myself properly on the official ya'll get some special attention. (I mean you did give me a badass gamescom code it's only logical!)

I'm never sure where to start on these things so... let's see..

When did I hear about WildStar? Oh man it was years ago, it was mentioned in guild chat back in WoW I think. I never forgot the name but real life took over and I missed all the alpha beta testing and the like. But I did get a pass to Closed Beta, right about the time when the game started to go on sale.

First thing I did was look at the already existing guilds to see if there were any casual, fun loving guilds... and there weren't. Infact, I think my first ever post on the official forums was a guild recruitment post for my lovely guild- Venus Rising. At first it was just myself and my husband leading it, but people flocked to our ideals- and this was even with us planning on going to a roleplay server! We have fun and progress in the game at the same time- exploring all the content together. :D

Anyways this isn't about my guild, it's about me.

I'm an American gal living in the UK, having met my husband in another online game back in 2006/2007.
At the time I was 18/19 and about to embark on my very first job adventure...Walt Disney World! :) I worked there for about 3-4 months before I got really tired of not being in the company of my now-then-husband-back-then-boyfriend. He proposed we move in together, and it made sense for me to pick up my roots and carry over into the UK.

He proposed that winter, we got married that spring. And during that time, we led more guilds and played more mmo's together (as well as other games). So guild leading isn't a new art to me and him, and we make a great team. I'm the community manager of sorts, he's the raid leader. I'm the uber creative one, he's the uber logical numbers guy. :)

I'm now a chef in a super fancy restaurant in Media CityUK. I also dabble in graphic design in my spare time. But for the most part I'm ingame having a blast on my draken and roleplaying and guild leading.

Man, all that and I sound kind of boring actually! :P

Nice to meet ya!

Welcome to Readycheck, and nice to meet you!

I enjoyed reading your background story, because mine is actually quite similar!
I'm Canadian, my husband is American... And... We met in WoW!
It started out as a long distance relationship, but I too, packed my bags and came to live with him.

what kind of restaurant do you work at? My husband and I are big foodies, and enjoy watching Gordon Ramsay shows and the likes lol
